As a senior executive with more than 20 years of experience, Brian has operated in a broad range of roles. He has a reputation for “getting it done” and understands cost-effective execution is required to implement strategic plans.

Most recently Brian was Chief Operating Officer at CRT Capital Group LLC where he worked closely with the CEO on corporate strategy as well as having operational responsibility for technology, risk and facilities.  While at CRT he created a best-in-class trading platform and migrated the company to a self-clearing platform. In addition he established an Operational Risk function to manage and report on potential risks across the company.

Prior to CRT, Brian was the Chief Information Officer for North America for the Royal Bank of Scotland. In this role he was both responsible for technology strategy and implementation in North America and also Head of Rates technology globally supporting the business in London, Tokyo and the US. During this time, he fitted out a brand new North American headquarters for the company including a 1,000 person trading floor. As part of this move, two fully replicated data centers were brought online.
